• Q: Where can I find my nearest Pod?

  A: Check our locations map for every Pod site across the UK and Europe.

• Q: How many people can you fit in a Pod?

  A: 2 Adults and 2 Small children in a Standard Pod and up to 5 adults in a Family Pod.

• Q: What will I need to bring with me?

  A: Bring all your usual camping gear, minus the tent!

• Q: Do they have an electricity supply?

  A: Most Pods now have two electric sockets as standard.

• Q: Is it heated?

  A: Yes, provided your Pod has an electricity supply.

• Q: Is there any light inside?

  A: Every Pod with electricity is supplied either with a small lamp or LED down lighting.

• Q: Are they insulated?

  A: Pods are warm in winter thanks to the Cumbrian sheeps wool inside the walls and cool in summer with a special foil layer under the roof.

• Q: Can you cook in them?

  A: Podders usually cook on the covered porch area outside the Pod to keep the interior clean and fresh for the next user.

• Q: Are they secure?

  A: All Pods have lockable front doors.

• Q: Are beds included?

  A: You will need your own bedding at most sites but some provide double beds or camp beds.

• Q: Are there any washing facilities?

  A: Washing and toilet facilities will be provided on site.

• Q: Where will I park?

  A: Parking will be available on site and may be available next to your own Pod emplacement.

• Q: Are pets allowed?

  A: Some sites are pet friendly, check the locations map for specific sites.

• Q: Can I book Pods online?

  A: Not all sites are listed but a growing number can be booked online at www.pitchup.com.

• Q: Where do the Pods come from?

  A: In the UK all Pods are manufactured to our very high standard in either Cumbria or North Yorkshire.
